This Is Our Lucky Week

We hope you all had a great holiday. Exciting news, we added Jennifer Ringger to our list today, so be sure to look at her blog. We also added the link for the class of 1995 blog . We found another classmate

We went a while without adding anybody, but we have a new classmate to add to the bloglist. We are adding Jessica LeBaron. Be sure to check out her blog. If any of your other friends from our class have a blog, pass the word along. We would love to add them too. Also we still need e-mail addresses. Thanks to all of you who have e-mailed yours to us. Have a great Thanksgiving!

Price

We are trying to keep the price of the reunion as low as possible. That being said we would also like it to be a fun, memorable occasion. At the last 2 reunions, there have been classmates that have had to pay alot of their own money to make up the for the cost of the reunions. We will post here exactly what money is going where. As for the dinner, with set up costs and taxes, it should come out to about $17 per person (but well worth it). We are grateful to Jamie Olson and Olson's Garden Shoppe for allowing us to have the dinner there for free. This will save us alot of money. We do need to find chairs and tables. If anyone has access to tables and chairs please contact us. Otherwise, we will rent and thus add to the cost of the meal. Brent has given us several options for the family activity. Possibly, a Friday evening activity including a campfire and barbecue or a Saturday day activity on the farm. The price of the family activity is yet to be determined. It depends on what everyone wants to do. We would love to hear your opinion. So please leave a comment or e-mail us! We also would really like to get the word out via e-mail, this blog and Facebook. We will not be sending out letters through the mail. This would cost us nearly $200. So please help us to get the word out

15 year Class Reunion

Wow, can you believe that it has already been almost 15 years since we graduated. It just doesn't seem possible! We are excited about the upcoming reunion, and are trying to plan some fun activites the you all will enjoy.

This year we want to have an activity where you can bring your families with you. (but, that doesn't mean that you need a family to come) Brent Daley has some great ideas for this. He has a farm that has some fun things to enjoy such as fishing, swimming, rowboats, canoes. He also thought games such as grease the pig, mud volleyball, cake walks, pie eating contests, musical chairs, scavenger hunts, etc etc, would be fun. We are toying with the idea of having a BBQ, and other fun treats, a live band, and a midnight movie.

We also want to have a nice dinner for the adults only. We are planning on having this at the Olsen's greenhouse, and having A Vikings Feast cater it. They have yummy food, and everybody that I have talked to that have used them, have loved the food. We are thinking a pasta bar, that has lots of fixings that you can put in, and then they cook it up right in front of you. It will be $16 a plate, which I think is very reasonable, considering that is about the price of going out to eat anywhere.

We are really looking forward to seeing you all again, and hope you all can make it. We are open to any ideas that you have as well. So, let us know of your ideas, and also if you are willing to help.

Class Reunion

We are planning a reunion for next September 5th. We have booked A Viking's Feast to cater the dinner for us. Their food is delicious! They have a famous pasta bar that we will be having.
